Hello Everyone, Just wanted to fill everyone in on what's being going on here in Michigan besides COLD weather!! The BCQ TV team just got back from a Snow Goose hunt with the guys from Reel Wings decoys (www.reelwings.com) and Pattern Master Chokes (www.patternmaster.com). If you are familar with the TV show you know that we do not endorse any product unless we believe in it...Judging by the 150 birds in 2 days using both of these products I would say THEY WORK!!! What a hunt..We got to shoot the new SX3 shotguns (that's a whole other blog) with Federal's Black Cloud shells as well and we downed some serious Geese in 2 days of shooting.

Stop by these websites and get some of there products if you plan on doing ANY type waterfowl hunting in the future!!

Happy New Year to everyone!  I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Holiday season.  Well, 2009 is already looking up for us!  Thanks to everyone casting their votes and watching our show, BCQ TV has been nominated for Viewer Favorite!  Even though we will not know the final results until The Sportsman Channel Awards on the 16th, Casey and I are both ecstatic that we have been nominated!  Thanks to all of you who voted, and stay tuned for more of our high-energy, action packed shows.  Don't forget to drop us a line on MySpace!  Thank you once again for all of the support.  Happy hunting!

Just a quick update everything is going great for 2008, Casey is hunting in Kansas right now with A&D Outfitters and Elite Winner Tim Zenner. They are seeing some great bucks it's only a matter of time. I hunted with Tim Buma of New Zealand Trophy Hunting Ltd a couple of years ago and it was a fantastic hunt. We ended up coming home with over 12 world class animals. Well Tim is at it again with this NEW WORLD RECORD that he just sent me. This red stag Scores SCI 615! Congrats to Tim and the rest of the crew and Congrats to Darin Lewin for shooting this amazing trophy!!!

The season is Officially underway! Casey just arrived in camp in Wisconsin as he is hunting the early season archery and judging by some of the Trail cam pics it should be a great one!! Stay tuned for updates.  I will be leaving on Thursday for our Great friend Doug's place in Kansas at A&D Outfitters. I will have elite winner Tim Zenner with me and we are both ready to get a big daddy down!!

Congrats to Casey!! He just got married in Montana to Lisa Devonshire...Way to go. The wedding was great and the fishing was unreal. Casey and I got a chance to fish the Madison and also the Gallitan rivers while we were there. We will be loading some pics through out the week.

Just got back From Kane Lake Outfitters (www.kanelake.com) with one of our Dreamhunt Winners Fred Jasmund from Detroit, MI. It was an amazing time and Fred and I had some pretty close encounters with not only bears but wolves as well. Fred got a shot a beautiful Black bear and you'll have to tune in to BCQ TV to find out what happens. We will make an announcement for what dates that show will air. Thanks again Fred for a great time and The Team of BCQ TV look forward to hunting with you again.

Hello everyone, just letting you know that "The Elite Team" is back from another long roadtrip. We have been on a 25 day hunting spree for whitetail in 3 different states. All of our hunts were great hunt especially the hunt in Iowa with Dreamhunts winner Chris Ventura of Maryland. Chris shot a beautiful 10 point that scored right at 150 with a muzzleloader! We are headed to the SCI convention in Reno, NV and then off to the SHOT show in Las Vegas, NV hopefully everyone had a safe New Year and we'll chat again soon!!

With the past few nights dipping into the mid-to-high 30's here in Michigan, all of us here at EliteHunts are chomping at the bit for those long and cold days in the stand to roll around. As the seasons approach we are starting a new contest here on the site. It is time for our annual TRAIL CAM PHOTO CONTEST! From now until October 1st, you hunters can submit your photos to the EliteTeam for review. DREAMHUNT UPDATE! The June 2007 Platinum Dreamhunt has been changed from Hadley Creek, IL to  Any Season Outdoors in MO. This is going to be a awsome hunt! The Elite Team sends a special congratulations to dreamhunt winner, 14 year old Austin Kratt. Austin won a turkey hunt in Michigan at Valhalla Ranch. Over this past weekend Austin traveled to Valhalla, along with his Dad, Mike. On the first morning of the hunt the guys were able to get on some birds, but did not shoot. That evening, they again got onto some nice birds and Austin took a HUGE tom. The bird had a 13" beard, inch and 1/4 spurs and weighed in at 24lbs. Great job guys and CONGRATULATIONS to Austin on his first successful turkey hunt!



Hey Folks,
While traveling back from Iowa, Elite Team members Chris and Chuck Keefer were involved in a severe car accident on I-80. Chuck was able to walk away with some torn ligaments, however Chris was not so lucky. Local fireman were called to the scene to remove Chris from the vehicle with the jaws of life. He suffered a broken femur, foot, ankle and orbital bone as well as many cuts and brusies. Chris will undergo a few more surgeries this week but is receiving the best possible care. We appreciate all of your support and we ask that you keep Chris and Chuck in your prayers. Chris has a tough battle in front of him and a long road to recovery but with all the support that he has been receiving, we are sure that he will fight through it and get back to 100%. Thank you again for all of your support.
